So heres the long over due chapter* “Whoa, your Aleaces mom. I always thought she didnt have one.” Nicks cheeks turned red at the thought of his rudeness. Saying that her mom didnt exist, to Aleaces actual mom may not be the first impression he was hoping to make. “Sorry, its just, she never said anything about you or even mentioned you for the short time we were together.” “Well, not to get in to too much detail, painful detail at that, I never really knew Aleace, and she didnt really know me. Like I said, having Aleace was a disaster. She was a result of a horrible night after some ecstasy at a party. And because of my drug habits I lost custody of her and she was forced to live with her dad.” She admitted in pain, her face filled with regret and sorrow. “So, why didnt you just come and see her, or get shared custody. I mean, you could have still been part of her life.” Nick questioned the abandonment of her mother. “Because, he was such a jerk and totally screwed me over I told the judge I was clean, and even went to rehab, but he planted drugs in my home and I got caught again. I even had to do jail time because of my possession with drugs There was nothing I could do, no evidence of him doing it or anything. He just wanted Aleace because of the monthly pay check that came his way for having a child. So I was never allowed to see Aleace again.” “Im sorry Ms-” She cut him off. “Please, call me Mary” she finished. “And you are..?” “Oh right, sorry, my names Nick. I am, I was, your daughters boyfriend.” He looked down at the ground realizing that he will never be Aleaces boyfriend. Or even come close to a girl like her. Mary looked at the sad boy standing in front of her, his head hung low and tears threatening to escape his dark brown eyes. She took a step closer and put her hand on his shoulder. She hesitated at first, but her heart got the best of her and she leaned in and hugged the boy tight. Nick slowly raised his arms and hugged her back, it felt so right, his nose taking in her scent and Marys blonde hair in view. It reminded him so much of holding Aleace. Mary mimicked his pose, taking in his scent, only it felt so wrong. Her feelings were not just mutual. From the moment she saw him, and his eyes gleam into hers, she grew hot and bothered. Nick may never find a girl like Aleace, but he did find a woman just like Aleace. * comments most definitely welcome. And what do you think of this Mary character? Pretty sketchy chick eh? LOL*
